Vega Fahala is a certified organic orchard and Rural 4-bedroom / 3-bathrooms house with fireplace, orange grove, private pool, & A/C in peaceful valley. Ideal loc. natural surroundings, minutes away from picturesque villages, 1/2hr from Málaga, international airport, high-speed trains, beaches and Marbella. The house is not located in a residential area but instead in a rural area with mostly avocado and orange groves, so you can enjoy the peace of the country while being away just with short drives to highways, commercial areas, beaches, parks, restaurants, etc.
The space
The old house has had several renovations and improvements over the generations, and now offers all the amenities and comfort of a modern home while staying true to its traditional Andalusian architecture and rural style. Handmade terracotta floors inside the house and terraces. The house can host comfortably up to eight people. One bedroom with a queen size bed, and two bedrooms with two single beds each. There is a queen-size sofa-bed in the living room in front of the open fireplace, and another in the family room. There are 3 bathrooms The kitchen and dining areas are fully equipped, and there is a barbecue, *Internet WI-FI, A/C, an alarm system with security and supervision 24/7, smart HD TVs. There is good reception for mobile phones. Most of the time it is very quiet but sometimes a neighbor may be working on his land with engines that are noisy.
Guest access
The house is surrounded by a grove with over 600 fruit trees—different varieties of oranges, lemons, figs, pears, etc., abound. Fahala river is just meters away and only a few minutes’ drive from the villages of Alhaurin, Coín and Cártama. Subtropical beaches, ski resorts, monuments, ancient ruins, shopping centers, luxury stores, theaters, and much more are just a short drive away.
Interaction with guests
We will be waiting at the house (or meeting point) to give you the keys, show you the house, and answer any questions about the appliances, alarm, heating, etc. We will be on call during your stay if you need anything. The maintenance of the swimming pool and garden is included and is done weekly. Additional services such as cleaning, cooking, babysitting, driving, and others are available at extra charge.
Other things to note
We want to stay green! Please use ecological and biodegradable products for showering, laundering and other needs. There are recycle bins to sort your garbage.
*We have the best possible Internet access for a rural area through satellite, with up to 22mbps which is suitable for any use, but there is a download limit during the day of about 2GB per day, it is unlimited during the night hours. If the limit is exceeded there is a charge of 12 Euros per additional GB.
There are dogs and roosters, hens and other animals that may make noise, and they may sound louder because of everything else being so quiet.
